Step 4. Run the Initial Settings procedure.
Plug in the Blu-ray player, and then turn on your lY. Turn on the Blu-ray player by pressing
the POWER button on the remote. The Initial Settings Language screen appears.
If the Language screen does not appear, change the lY's source setting to the source
you've connected the Blu-ray player to. For instructions, see your lY's user's manual.

the desired language, and then press

button. The Next button is
highlighted.

button. The Start
screen appears with the Start button
highlighted.

button to start set up.
The Network Settings screen appears
with the Next button highlighted.
4. If you have a network, press the

button, and then go to the Wired
Network or Wireless Network instructions
on the right. If you don't have a network,
select Skip, press the

button, and
then go to Step 6 below.

On the Software Upgrade screen, press
the

button to upgrade the player's
software. If new software is available,
the player downloads and installs the
new software. When the download is
complete, select Next, and then press
the
l5l
button.

On the lY Aspect Ratio screen, select
the picture Aspect Ratio (picture size
and configuration) that fits your lY, and
then press the
l5l
button twice.
The Settings Complete screen appears.

Select OK, and then press the
l5l
button. The Home screen appears.
Wired Network
1. The Blu-ray player automatically verifies
your wired network.
2.
When verification is complete, the
screen displays "Internet is connected
successfully." Press the
l5l
button. The
Software Update screen appears.

Go to Step 5 in the Initial Settings
procedure on the left.

• If you skip Network Setup here, see "Configuring
Your Network Connection" on pages 26-28 in the
user's manual to configure your network later.
• If you want to re-run the Initial Settings
procedures to make changes, select Settings on
the Home screen, then System> Initial Settings.

Wireless Network

The Blu-ray player automatically
searches for and then lists all wireless
networks that are within range.
Select a network, and then press

button twice. The keyboard
appears.

the keyboard to enter the key.
When done, use the

your wireless network.

screen displays "Internet is connected
