Size Mismatch
The paper in the tray is not
the correct size.
Manual Feed
Manual was selected as the
paper source in the printer
driver, but there is no paper
in the manual feed slot.
No Paper
The machine is out of paper,
or paper is not loaded
correctly in the paper tray.
Toner Ended
It is time to replace the toner
(Continue mode)
cartridge.
Self-Diagnostic
The temperature of the fuser
unit does not rise to a
specified temperature within
the specified time.
The fuser unit is too hot.
Print Unable
The machine has a
mechanical problem.
Action
Load the correct size of paper in
the tray and set the size of paper
to the tray.
Place paper in the manual feed
slot.
Refill paper in the paper tray.
Make sure the paper guides
are set to the correct size.
If paper is in the tray, remove
it and load it again. Make sure
the paper guides are set to
the correct size.
Replace the toner cartridge with a
new one.
Press and hold
to turn the
machine off, wait a few seconds,
and then turn it on again. Leave
the machine idle for 15 minutes
with the power on.
Press and hold
to turn
the machine off, wait a few
minutes, and then turn it on
again.
If the problem continues,
contact Brother customer
service.
