These instructions should be read carefully and left with the user of the product
for future reference.
You must inspect the product including its cable and plug for any signs of
damage. If the product is damaged, DO NOT use it, and contact your supplier
immediately.
Place the EH1210 on a firm, flat level surface. Ensure that the air vents on the
sides and top cannot be covered.
Place the unit where the temperature will not fall below 5°C (41°F) (The internal
cooling element becomes covered with ice if the room temperature falls below
that 5°C, which reduces performance).
Place the unit away from any source of heat.
The dehumidifier works best in an enclosed area: closing doors and windows will
improve the efficiency of the dehumidification process.
Connect the power supply to the socket at the the base of the rear of the unit.
Connect the power supply to the mains supply.
Do not use outdoors.
If connecting via an extension lead, make sure that the lead is rated at 3 Amps
or more, and that it is fully unwound.
If the EH1210 is not going to be used for a long time:
1. Empty and clean the bucket.
2. Unplug from the mains
3. Clean the unit
4. Store in its original packaging.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without
supervision.
Place the EH1210 on a firm flat stable surface.
Make sure that air intakes and exhausts are not obstructed.
