    IMPORTANT Installer and Users please note: These instructions should be read carefully and left with the user of the product for future reference. INSTALLATION Install the appliance on floor approximately 20cm (8") from a wall. Ensure that the air inlets (on the sides) and the air outlets (on the top) cannot be covered.

  • Page 4: Maintenance

    • To operate the timer press the TIMER button. The two-digit display will then show the time (in hours) for which the appliance will run before switching off. To increase the time, press the TIMER button repeatedly until the display shows the length of time required. To cancel the timer keep pressing the TIMER button until the display shows zero.
  • Page 5 Slowly pull out the bucket - use the hand grip at the side of the bucket and pull straight out to avoid spillage. Dispose of the water down a drain, and replace the bucket. The bucket must be in place and secured before the dehumidifier will operate. It will start a few seconds after the bucket is correctly inserted.
  • Page 6 Cut the plastic blanking plug located at the side of the appliance, and attach a 16mm internal diameter drain hose to the outlet, and place the other end of the hose into a drain. It is essential that the pipe slopes downwards continuously, and no part of the pipe is higher than the outlet in the appliance.

    FAULT FINDING • Appliance fails to start: Check the mains supply, check that the plug is pushed firmly into the mains socket, and check the fuse in the mains plug. • Appliance operates noisily: Check that the air filter is not clogged. Check that the appliance is placed on a LEVEL surface.

    Noise level: 41 dB(A) SERVICE WARRANTY Prem-i-Air guarantees the product free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year. Should this appliance be operated under conditions other than those recommended, at voltages other than the voltage indicated on the appliance, or any attempts made to service or modify the appliance, then the warranty will be rendered void.
