Inserting the Batteries

1. Remove the battery compartment cover.
Only use batteries of the type specifi ed in the Section
"Technical Data" to operate the device. Do not use re-
chargeable batteries to operate the device.
2. Insert the batteries (2 x mignon, AA) in the bat-
tery compartment paying attention to correct po-
larity.
The display shows .
Attention! Risk of damage to the de-
vice through reverse poling when insert-
ing the batteries. Pay attention the batter-
ies are correctly aligned when inserted.
3. Replace the battery compartment cover.
The service life of new batteries is approx. 1 year.
The battery icon is displayed when the batteries
need to be changed.
The service life of the battery is infl uenced by the type
of programming (frequency of switching times, etc.).
