3. Load the documents face down with their tops into the Automatic Document Feeder.
4. You can now scan the documents using the scanner buttons, OneTouch, or one of the other scanning
interfaces.

When scanning small pages such as Business Cards, we recommend using the front feed. Also ensure that Crop to
Original and Straighten Image are used.
Note: You can only load items into the scanner from either of the feed trays or the automatic document feeder
(ADF) at each scan time. The scanner will jam if you load paper into the ADF after an item has already been placed
into one of the feed trays.
1. Open the front-feed tray.
2. Place an item face up, on the front or rear feed tray, aligned to the registration marks on the tray and insert it
into the scanner.
