Inserting the batteries
R Use only D (LR20) alkaline batteries.
R Do not use manganese, Ni-Cd, or
Ni-MH batteries.

Remove the rear cover.
R While holding the rear cover, twist
the front of the unit in the direction
shown below, and then remove
the rear cover.

R Press the tabs on the top and
bottom of the unit as shown, and
then remove the battery cover.
