Recharging the Battery: Docking Station

NOTE: The unit will
not charge if the
power switch is OFF.
Make sure the docking station is
installed correctly with at least 40 inch-
es to one side, 12 inches to the opposing
side and no obstructions in front of the
docking station.After the initial charge is
complete, plug the wall adaptor directly
into the docking station.
IMPORTANT! To extend SmartClean's battery life and keep SmartClean
cleaning at peak performance:
• Always keep SmartClean charged when not in use.
• For storage off of the Docking Station, remove the battery from
SmartClean and store in a cool, dry place.

To test the auto-charge feature of the dock,
remove the robot from the docking station
and make sure the power switch is in the ON
position. Press the green lit power button until
00 appears on the display. The vacuum should
search for and back into the docking station if
the appropriate spacing was provided.
