To clean the filter for a Keurig SELECT:
1. Remove the filter from the water reservoir by pressing the two buttons on the filter holder and pulling it out. 2. Soak the new filter in a cup or bowl of cold water for 5 to 10 minutes until it sinks. 3. Rinse the soaked filter under tap water for about 60 seconds. 4. Rinse the lower filter holder, including the thin mesh layer and sides, under tap water. 5. Insert the rinsed filter into the filter holder with the rounded top facing up, and replace it in the reservoir.
