disturbance recorder. Setting the parameter M80 also enables
display of the primary values on the LCD.
M81
Used for designating the current conversion factor and unit. The
format of the parameter is XXXXX, YY; where XXXXX is the
conversion factor, and YY the unit. The conversion factor is the
ratio between the primary and secondary sides of the current
transformer (CT) multiplied by the rated current of the relay,
ranging between 0...65535. The unit is either A or kA. The
conversion factors and units are used for calculating the primary
values in a special PC program used for unloading the
disturbance recorder.

Event code

It is possible to set the disturbance recorder to generate an event code into the event
register when the recorder is triggered. To enable the event code to be generated, set
the event mask in serial parameter V158. The event code generated is E31.

Recorded data

On detection of a fault the recorder starts and records fault data. The latest five
events are saved. The submenu "Number of starts" under "Recorded data" indicates
how many times a protection function has started, range: 0...255.
