3.2. Network C onfiguration

The A ERO.10 i s c apable o f b eing c onfigured, c ontrolled, a nd m onitored r emotely

across a s tandard I P n etwork, e ither v ia I P c ommands o r t he N fRemote a pplication.

In o rder t o c ontrol t he u nit r emotely, e nsure t hat t he n etwork s ettings a re

appropriate f or y our s ystem i s n ecessary.

Both s tatic I P c onfiguration a s w ell a s D HCP a re s upported i n t he A ERO.10, w ith

DHCP b eing t he d efault n etwork s etting. I t i s r ecommended t o a ssign a s tatic I P

address t o t he A ERO.10, e specially i n l arger s ystems.

The I P a ddress o f t he u nit m ay b e v iewed f rom t he f ront p anel o f t he A ERO.10 e ven

without u nlocking i t. S imply p ress t he e ncoder d own u ntil t he I P a ddress i s

displayed.

If t he I P a ddress d isplayed i s 1 27.0.0.1, t hen t he u nit i s o perating w ithout a v alid

network c onnection.

controls:

• Press t he e ncoder u p a nd s elect t he " System" f ield, t hen p ress i t t o t he r ight

to e nter t he S ystem m enu.

enter t he N etwork m enu.
