To ignore a call and divert it to voice mail
If the screen is unlocked, simply tap the Ignore icon
If the screen is locked, swipe the Ignore icon
ignore the call.
The caller is sent directly to your voice mail box to leave a message.

Tap the Ignore with
message icon to
send a quick
message to the caller
and forward them to
your voice mail.
NOTE
To silence the incoming call ringer, press either of the Volume Keys.
To ignore a call and send a text message
To display the Ignore with message option on the Incoming call screen,
enable it in the Settings menu.
1. Tap the Home button

Call settings.

2. Tap the Allow ignore with message switch to toggle it On (blue).
TIP
Tap Allow ignore with message to manage your text message choices.
To use the Ignore with message option, select it (tap or swipe its icon) on
the Incoming call screen, then tap the Send icon
message you want to send in place of answering the call.
TIP
If you tap one of the text messages instead, the Messaging app opens so you can
modify the text before sending it to the caller.
NOTE
This feature can only be used to send a message to another mobile phone. It's not
applicable to incoming landline calls.
