  • Page 8 AXIS Q6055-S PTZ Dome Network Camera How to replace the dome cover (optional) The premounted clear dome cover can be replaced if you want to use a smoked dome cover or if the dome cover is scratched or damaged. Smoked dome covers and spare clear dome covers can be purchased from your Axis reseller.
  • Page 9 Important Axis can only guarantee full functionality with the supplied media converter switch. No other devices are supported. 1. Make sure the mains supply is switched off.

    SD card. Use your fingers to insert and remove the card. • Risk of data loss and corrupted recordings. Do not remove the SD card while the product is running. Disconnect power or unmount the SD card from the Axis product’s webpages before removal.

    The supplied multicable is required in order to maintain the camera’s NEMA/IP rating. The multicable is connected to the camera’s multiconnector, see Hardware overview on page 4 . The wires are connected to the supplied media converter switch, see AXIS T8607 Media Converter Switch on page 5 .

All cables connecting the product to the network shall be intended for their specific use. Make sure that the network devices are installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.

    • When transporting the Axis product, use the original packaging or equivalent to prevent damage to the product. Battery The Axis product uses a 3.0 V BR2032 lithium battery as the power supply for its internal real-time clock (RTC). Under normal conditions this battery will last for a minimum of five years.
