ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. LOCATE IN TRUCK BED.

With the truck on a level surface,
place box in truck bed and center.
Ensure truck box lid opens without
interference. Select two ribs in
truck bed on which to mount box.
Measure from middle of selected rib
to universal chest end (dimension
"X" in figure). Transfer dimension "X"
to inside of both sides of universal
chest. Mark a line 3-4 in. from front and back of inside of
universal chest.
2. DRILL MOUNTING HOLES
Drill (4) - 3/16 in. pilot holes and then 3/8 in. holes through
box and truck bed at marked locations in the figure. If your
truck bed is constructed of aluminum, use a zinc primer
to coat all the drilled holes in the truck bed.
3. ATTACHING UNIVERSAL CHEST TO TRUCK BED
Place truck box in truck bed, lining up holes and secure
with 5/16 in. bolts, nuts and washers. If your truck bed is
constructed of aluminum use nylon washers between truck
box and truck bed on the top side and between the flat
washer and bed on the underside. Tighten all bolts securely.
