Tighten chassis and body nuts and bolts
Inspect the following:
Drive belts
Cooling and heater system; check that the
radiator and condenser are not blocked with
leaves, dirt, or insects, and the hose
connections for installation condition and
corrosion
Exhaust pipes and mountings
Auxiliary (12 volt) battery
Engine air cleaner filter
Fuel tank cap, fuel lines, connections
and fuel vapour control valve
Brake pedal and parking brake
(whichever occurs first)
Brake pads and discs
Brake fluid
Brake pipes and hoses
Steering wheel and linkage
Drive shaft boots
Suspension ball joints and dust covers
Tyres and inflation pressures
Lights, horns, wipers and washers
Air conditioner including refrigerant level
Road test vehicle
