About Messaging

You can use Messaging to exchange text messages (SMS) and multimedia messages (MMS) with your friends on mobile phones.
1. From the Home screen, tap
On the All messages screen, all your sent and received messages are neatly grouped into conversations, by contact names
or phone numbers. You can:
Scroll up or down the list of conversations by swiping your finger on the screen.
Tap a contact name or number to view the exchange of messages.
Tap the photo or
to open a menu where you can quickly choose how to communicate with the contact.
You can also view your messages on the Home screen with the Messages widget.

Sending a Message

Sending a message (SMS)
If you exceed the limit on the number of characters for a single text message, your text message will be delivered as one
but will be billed as more than one message.
1. From the Home screen, tap

message. Or press
3. Enter the phone number in the
Enter the first few letters of a contact name or start digits of a mobile number. One or a few contacts from your stored
contacts, which are matched with what your type, are displayed. Tap a name or phone number among displayed contacts.

> select the contacts you want to send the message > ADD.
4. Tap the box that says
Type to compose
Press

to see more options.
Send a copy to another recipients using Cc/Bcc. Especially, receiver' s information in the Bcc field will be hidden
Add Cc/Bcc
from every recipient's view.
Send a Pictures, Videos, Audio, vCard, vCalendar and Slideshow with the message.
Attach
Send message.
Send
Send a smiley with the message.
Insert smiley
Erase a composed message.
Discard
Go back to the screen that shows all threads of message.

5. Tap Send.
Press
Back
to save it as a draft.
