Trouble Shooting Cont....
Booklets are being stapled or folded incorrectly
The side guides (10, 11) or the back stop
(14) are not fixed correctly or at skew
position.
The side guides (10, 11) are too far apart
from each other, allowing unparalleled
insertion of paper:
The side guides (10, 11) are adjusted too
tightly, causing larger paper formats to
curl during folding which leads to
incorrect stapling.
Incorrect adjustment of back stop (14):
Paper is not squared up correctly:
Booklet is stapled correctly but incorrectly ejected
Reduced stickiness of fold rollers because
of dirt:
Too many sheets have been inserted:

Maintenance

Replace scratched or bent driver blades (16). Clean the machine only with a
soft lint free cloth, very slightly damp, do not use chemical substances on the
outer frame or buttons.
Clean the folding rollers using a rubber friendly chemical, we recommend you
use our specially formulated TFP SC2 – Do not use rubber rejuvenator.
It is imperative you keep the rollers clean to ensure perfect operation and
correct folding. Clean the rollers regularly.

Fix the locking screws of the side guides
and back stop properly. Adjust skew as
necessary.
Shift side guides more closely together.
Shift side guides further apart.
Adjust back stop more precisely, so that
the machine folds in the center of the
Sheet.
Square up paper correctly before firing.
Use Skew.
Clean fold rollers with TFP SC2
Thoroughly and re-try
Do not insert more than 15 sheets 80GSM
or 1,200 gsm total.
