Universe
Universe Settings are available when the Mode is Input or Output.
The Universe is indicated as a decimal number. In addition is is shown as the Artnet subnet and
Universe number.
This makes it easy to work with consoles that do not use decimal Universe numbers for their
Artnet Configuration.
Universes numbers can be set from 1 to 256 (0-0 to F-F) with the arrow keys. Confirm the desired
Universe with the Enter key.
Range
Range allows to limit the DMX channels submitted by a port. This can be helpful to protect certain
DMX addresses, for example houselights or Special FX from accidental use.
Enter the Range Menu and use the arrow keys to define the start channel of the range. Press
Enter and define the end channel of the range.
Another Enter press confirms the range and it will be indicated in the display.
Framerate
The refresh rate of the DMX port can be set from 10Hz up to 39Hz, and to "Follow Input"
With Follow Input the rate is set identical to the incoming rate of Artnet packages, increasing
accuracy.
