Doro Connect & Care
Note! You need to have Internet access to use most of the features in
Connect & Care. Depending on how you use your phone, it can use up a
lot of Internet bandwidth really quickly. Before you use your phone, we
strongly recommend that you contact your mobile operator about data
rates. Using data services while roaming can be costly. Check with your
mobile operator for data roaming rates before you use data roaming.
Connect & Care is an application that gives you the opportunity to get
help from a helper (a helper is a friend or relative) with a smart device
that can run the Connect & Care application. The help can be carried out
from anywhere (remote help).
Note! In order to use some of the features of Connect & Care, either the
Doro 8040 user or the helper needs to have a Care service subscription
with Doro. Connect & Care can override the normal assistance button
behaviour.
Getting started — Install the application
Create account on the Doro 8040
1. From the Home screen, tap My applications to get to
My applications
2. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the account setup.
Install the application on the helper's device
1. Go to Play Store or App Store.
