Attach the long side rails (M & N) to the short side rails (K & L) using bolts (3) and hex caps (6) as shown below with hex key (10).

  • Page 17 Toddler to Twin Convertible Bed DA7229W / DA7229E STEP 10 Loosen the bolts (2) to remove the top and bottom rails (I & J) from the headboard and footboard with hex key (10).
  • Page 18 Toddler to Twin Convertible Bed DA7229W / DA7229E STEP 11 Remove bolts (7) from the headboard panels (C & D) and footboard panels (E & F) using hex key (10). Detach long crosspiece (P) from short crosspieces (O) by removing bolts (3) and hex caps (6) using hex key (10).
  • Page 19 Toddler to Twin Convertible Bed DA7229W / DA7229E STEP 12 Slide the 2 halves of the bed so that the holes in long crosspiece (P) align with the holes in the 2 short crosspieces (O), as shown below. Attach long crosspiece (P) to short crosspieces (O), using bolts (3) and hex caps (6).

  • Page 21 Toddler to Twin Convertible Bed DA7229W / DA7229E STEP 14 Align the holes in short side rail (K) with long side rail (M) and short side rail (L) with long side rail (N), and use bolts (3) and hex caps (6) to attach them together. Use hex key (10) to tighten the bolts.
  • Page 22 Toddler to Twin Convertible Bed DA7229W / DA7229E STEP 15 Attach the twin bed slats to the assembled frame with flat screws (9) as shown below using a Philips head screwdriver (not included). NOTE: Make sure that the slats at both ends are attached as close to the headboard/ footboard as possible.
