    DOUBLE INSULATED The hover mower is double insulated to provid e a double th ickness of insulation between you and the tool’s electrical sys tem. All exposed metal parts are isolated from the internal metal motor components with protective insulation. GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS IN THE EVENT OF A MALFUNCTION OR BREAKDOWN, grounding provid es the path of leas t resis tance for electric current, and reduces the risk of electric shock.

  • Page 9 Handle Assembly Place the ends of the lower handle (5) into the slots. (Fig. 1) Fig. 1 Secure the lower handle (5) to the d eck by rmly push ing a retaining pin (9) throug h the retaining holes on the d eck and throug h the bottom end of the handle.
  • Page 10 060-1707-0 Fix the upper handle (3) section to the lower handle (5). Use the bolts (10) and wing nuts (4) provid ed. There are two possible heig ht positions. Choose the one mos t suita ble to the o perator’s heig ht. (Fig. 4) Fig.
  • Page 11 Setting the Cutting Heig hts There are 2 cutting heig hts. (Fig 6) shows the lower cutting heig ht setting, 10 mm. (Fig 7) shows the h ig her cutting heig ht setting, 33 mm. The blad e is pre-set to the 33 mm cutting heig ht in the factory.
  • Page 12 060-1707-0 3 To re fit the fan (1 2) and set the cutting heig ht (Fig. 9), replace the fan (1 2) as illus trated on to the motor drive shaft. Position the cutting head (11) onto the motor drive shaft according to the heig ht of cut you need.
  • Page 13 ON/OFF Operation Connect the mower to your power supply socket. Ensure the ca ble or extension ca ble (if you are using one) is hooked throug h the ca ble s train relie f hook. (Fig 10) Be fore switch ing on, ensure that the mower is n ot in contact with any foreign objects.

    060-1707-0 Operation Be fore you connect the equipment to the main supply, make sure that the data on the rating plate corresponds to your main supply. A safe dis tance between the blad e d eck and the user is provid ed by the length of the handle. Th is dis tance mus t be maintained at all times.
