Front Gearcase Oil Check

The front gearcase oil level should be checked every six months or
1000 miles (1600 km), whichever comes first. Maintain the oil level at
the bottom of the fill plug threads. Change the oil annually. We
recommend the use of Polaris Angle
Drive Fluid. See page 117 for the part
numbers of Polaris products.
1. Position the ATV on a level
surface.
2. Remove the fill plug (1) and check
the oil level.
3. Add the recommended oil as
needed to maintain the level at the
bottom of the fill plug threads.
4. Reinstall the fill plug.
