Early warning "Area Mail"
Area Mail is a service to receive earthquake
early warnings etc. provided by the Japan
Meteorological Agency.
Area Mail is a free service that does not require
a subscription.
Area Mail is received without i-mode
subscription.
Receiving Area Mail

Receive an Area Mail automatically

When the Area Mail is received, the
dedicated alarm tone (beep sound)
or Area Mail dedicated ring tone
sounds and the called LED flashes
After receptions, some Area Mails
automatically display the message, while
others display [Area mail received].
When [Area mail received] appears, the
screen displayed before the reception
automatically reappears approximately 30
seconds later.

[Early warning "Area Mail" setting]

[Beep time]/enter the duration of the
beep sound to be rung
Using SMS
You can use SMS that enables you to use a
mobile phone number as an address.
