Setting up the Playbook

The 3100 Series Landro can be used
with any sport, basketball, hockey,
soccer, etc. To make Landro specific to
your sport, you will need to work with
your coach to first decide what types of
video information you want to analyze.
With this Landro, you set up your own
categories (e.g. unit, period), as well as
the entries for those categories (e.g. in
the unit category, offense, in the period
st
category 1 Half).
You can add to and edit your Play Book
at any time, but it's best if you input all
of your Play information before you
record any Games into Landro. (Landro
was shipped with a simple template.
Feel free to add to or edit this Play Book
or delete it entirely and completely build
your own.)
There are 2 parts to setting up your
playbook. First, you define the
categories. Second, you fill in the
entries for the categories you've
created.
To define the categories:
1) Press the yellow Main Menu button.
2) Navigate to "Edit Play Book".
3) Press the yellow Enter button.
4) Navigate to "Configure Playbook"
and press Enter.
Down the left column, titled "Field
Name", you will find consecutively
numbered entries for: Situation,
Situation Value, Offense, Defense,
Special Teams and Teams.
Situation pertains to the current
state of the game such as the
quarter,...items that would help to
identify the general details in a
game.
Situation Value pertains to play
entries that will have a numerical
value...Play Values 1 to 4 will be
used for ranges of 0 to 250 (such as
Player Number), while Play Values 5
to 8 will be used for ranges of -125 to
+125.
Offense pertains to the actual
selectable details of what you'll be
searching for as it relates to the
offense...items that give information
about the particular play that you are
marking as it relates to the Offense.
Defense pertains to the actual
selectable details of what you'll be
searching for as it relates to the
defense...items that give information
about the particular play that you are
marking as it relates to the Defense.
Special Teams pertains to the
actual selectable details of what
you'll be searching for as it relates to
special teams...items that give
information about the particular play
that you are marking as it relates to
the Special Teams.
