Connecting Landro to Make a
Highlight Tape
1) LANDRO to VCR: Connect Landro to
your VCR using an S-Video cable.
Connect one end to the output on
the rear of the Landro and the other
end to the input on the VCR. (If the
VCR doesn't have S-Video, use an
RCA video cable instead.) If you also
want audio, use the supplied Landro
audio cable, connecting the 1/8"
connector to the rear of your Landro
and the other end Left (white) and
Right (red) audio inputs on the VCR.
The connections look like this:
Once your Landro is connected to your
VCR, press the Line Input or Input
button (if the VCR has one), or channel
down below channel 2 to an Aux
channel (in some cases, could be Line
In, L1, Aux, 99, etc.). If unsure of which
channel to tune to, consult your VCR
manual.
2) Connect VCR to your TV using an S-
Video cable. Connect one end to the
output on the VCR and the other to
the input on the TV. (If the VCR and
TV don't both have S-Video, use an
RCA video cable instead.) If you
want audio in the recording, use
RCA cables to connect the Left
(white) and Right (red) audio outputs
from your VCR to the inputs on your
TV. The connections look like this:
Once your VCR is connected to your
TV, press the Line Input or Input button
(if the TV has one), or channel down
below channel 2 to an Aux channel (in
some cases, could be Line In, L1, Aux,
99, etc.). The Landro screen should
appear on the TV at this time. If unsure
of which channel to tune to, consult your
TV manual.
With Landro, you can arrange your
plays in the order that you want them to
appear on the highlight tape...just "tag"
each of the plays you want, in the order
that you want them to appear. Play
tagging is temporary and after you leave
the tagging screen, those plays will no
longer be tagged.
