2.2.1 CLI mode to use (CLI or ACLI)

This TCG provides configuration for every step in both CLI and ACLI modes.
The ERS 8600 can only accept commands in one mode or the other.
To set the desired CLI mode use the boot.cfg ACLI flag which can be set or reset as follows:
CLI
ERS-8610:5# config bootconfig flags nncli <true|false>
ERS-8610:5# save boot
ERS-8610:5# reset -y
ACLI
ERS-8610:5> enable
ERS-8610:5# config terminal
ERS-8610:5(config)# [no] boot config flags nncli
ERS-8610:5(config)# exit
ERS-8610:5# save boot
ERS-8610:5# reset –y
A switch reboot is required to change the CLI mode.
However, when saving or displaying the config, it is possible to specify either format:
CLI
ERS-8610:5# save config [mode <cli|nncli>]
ERS-8610:5# show config [mode <cli|nncli>]
ACLI
ERS-8610:5> enable
ERS-8610:5# save config [mode <cli|nncli>]
ERS-8610:5# show running-config [mode <cli|nncli>]
