Messages

Use the Messages menu to send and receive text
messages, multimedia messages, and e-mails. you
can also use Push message, Voicemail, Cell
broadcast message, and Configuration message
features.
To access this menu, press [
select Messages.
Create new

Use this menu to create and send text messages,
multimedia messages, or e-mails.
Text message
(Menu 5.1.1)
Short Message Service (SMS) allows you to send or
receive text messages.
Creating and sending an SMS message
1. Enter your message and press [
• The maximum number of characters
allowed in a short message varies by
service provider. If your message exceeds
the maximum number of characters, the
phone will split the message.
• You can use various by pressing
<Options> in each field.
2. Enter a destination number.
To send the message to more than one recipient,
fill in additional destination fields.

Using options while composing an SMS
message
While composing a message, press <Options> to
access the following options:
•
Send: send the message.
•
Input method: change the text input mode.
•
Input language: change the language to be
used in T9 input mode.
•
Insert: insert a text template, Phonebook entry,
calendar item, or bookmarked URL address into
text.
•
Save to Drafts: save the message in the Drafts
folder.
Multimedia message
Multimedia Message Service (MMS) delivers
messages containing a combination of text, image,
video, and audio, from phone to phone or from
phone to e-mail.
Creating and sending an MMS message
1. Enter the message subject.
You can use various options by pressing
<Options> in each field.
2. Select the Text line.
3. Enter the message text and press [
