    Your phone is powered by a rechargeable Li-ion battery. A travel adapter comes with your phone for charging the battery. Use only approved batteries and chargers. Ask your local Samsung dealer for further details. The travel adapter allows you to use the phone while the battery is charging, but this causes the phone to charge more slowly.

    Text Messages Short Message Service (SMS) allows you to send and receive short text messages to and from other GSM mobile phones. In addition, your phone supports the Enhanced Messaging Service (EMS), which enables you to make messages including simple pictures, melodies, and animation. To use this feature, you must subscribe to the message service of your service provider.

It provides automatic and immediate delivery of personal multimedia messages from phone to phone or from phone to e-mail. In addition to the familiar text content of text messages, multimedia messages can contain images, graphics, voice and audio clips.
