This Audio Setup Guide has been provided to assist you in setting up your audio system to achieve
optimal audio performance with your QuickCam camera.
The RightSound echo cancellation technology in your new web camera ensures that your voice

is clearly heard by those with whom you are communicating. If the camera on the other end does
not have this feature, those receiving your communication may need to use a headset in order for you
to hear them without an echo.

Install the QuickCam
Please install the QuickCam software before using this Guide.
To help you with software installation, you must follow the on-screen instructions, and please refer
to the QuickCam Installation Guide that came with your camera.
The process of installing the software and setting up your QuickCam camera includes instructions
related to audio setup. This guide, and the software Audio Tuning Wizard, will take you step by step
through this process. Specifically, this guide will help you get the most from the Acoustic Echo
Cancellation feature included with your camera. Echo cancellation enables hands free/headset free
communication by eliminating the audio feedback loop.
