The SIMATIC Automation Tool supports standard and fail-safe CPUs and I/O modules.
The safety relevant operations Reset to factory defaults, Restore from backup file, and
Program update are not allowed on fail-safe CPUs.
For some devices, some of the SIMATIC Automation Tool operations are not supported.
