All non-wear item parts purchased after warranty expiration are warranted for 90 days. Warranty starts from the date of sale to the consumer or, at Tornado’s discretion, 6 months after dealer purchased the unit from Tornado, whichever comes first. -
Page 5: Safety Instructions
When the unit is hand held, HOLD FIRMLY WHEN STARTING. High starting torque will cause unit to jerk and may cause injury or damage. Before operating your TORNADO Equipment, make sure the voltage and current used are the same as indicated on the nameplate. -
Page 6: Grounding Instructions
GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS This appliance must be grounded. If it should malfunction or breakdown, grounding provides a path of least resistance for electric current to reduce the risk of electric shock. This appliance is equipped with a cord having an equipment-grounding conductor and grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into an appropriate outlet that is properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances. -

ATTACHING EXTERNAL FILTER: Match notches in swivel filter collar with lugs on fan chamber and fasten securely by twisting to right. Attach filter tab onto bag rod. MAINTENANCE OF EXTERNAL FILTER: For maximum operating efficiency and to insure longer wear, remove filter and empty by detaching clamp at bottom of filter after every use. -
