Adjusting the sound

Generating a more dynamic
sound (Dynamic Sound
Generator X-tra)
Press DSGX on the unit.
Each time you press the button, the front panel
display changes as follows:
DSGX OFF y DSGX ON
Selecting a preset sound
effect
Press EQ.
Each time you press the button, you can select a
sound effect that most suits the video or music
you play. The default setting are underlined.

JAZZ
CLASSIC
FLAT
GB

Enhanced low and high range
for great sounding movie effects
and atmosphere. Great for action
movies and rock/pop music.
Clear mid and high range.
Recreates the atmosphere of a
live club with the artist just in
front of you. Good for Jazz
music and watching dramas.
Ideal for listening to classical
music and watching live concert
DVDs.
Flat and pure sound mode.

Singing along

You can sing along with a disc by connecting an
optional microphone.
Adjusting the microphone

Connect an optional microphone to the
MIC jack.

Press MIC LEVEL.

Press M or m to adjust the microphone
control level.

Start playing the music.
After you have finished
Turn MIC LEVEL to MIN and disconnect the
microphone from the MIC jack.
To use VIDEO CDs or DVDs
Turn on your TV and switch it to the appropriate
video input.
Tip
• To sing karaoke of multiplex CD, press AUDIO on
the remote repeatedly during play to select "Mono
Left," "Mono Right" (see "Changing the sound (page
16)").
Adjusting MIC ECHO

Press ECHO in MIC ON mode.
