Petrol Powered Lawn Mowers Adjusting Cutting Height Most lawn mowers feature adjustable cutting heights. The mechanism raises/lowers the lawn mower deck and has several steps. When setting cutting height, note that weeds can spread more easily in very short grass. If the grass is long it may be necessary to cut it in several passes, each time lowering the cutting height.

Petrol Powered Lawn Mowers To change the engine oil: Note: Briggs & Stratton "EXi" type engines do not require regular oil changes. 1. Place the machine on a suitable work surface that is flat and level and have a container ready to catch drained oil.
Petrol Powered Lawn Mowers Air Filter Operating the machine without a functional air filter may cause severe engine damage and will void any warranty. • A dirty or oil saturated air filter will restrict air flow, which can be mistaken as fuel system problems.
