Setting Up the Mouse

1 Insert the battery or batteries
The mouse requires one or two AA batteries (included in the package).
Note Always use new batteries whenever you need to replace them.
1 Remove the battery compartment cover on the underside of the mouse.
2 Insert the new battery or batteries. Be sure to properly orient the positive (+) and negative
(-) ends as shown in the battery compartment. Replace the battery compartment cover.
2 Turn on the mouse (some models only)
● If your mouse has an On/Off switch on the underside, ensure that it is turned on.
Tip When not in use, turn off the mouse to conserve battery life.
3 Plug in the transceiver
● With your computer turned on, plug the transceiver into a USB port on your computer.
Setup is complete.
Storing the Transceiver
When on the move, you can store the transceiver on the underside of the mouse.
If the transceiver fits into the battery compartment cover, snap it into the cover to turn off the
mouse and conserve battery life.
