Issue
No power, power indicator does
not light
Unit is not receiving an input
signal
Input level too low
No sound heard
[UNIT ID] switch or DIP switch
settings not applied
Cause
Power cord not connected.
The [POWER] switch is turned off.
Cables not connected properly.
Source device is not sending a
signal to the unit.
Internal head amp gain is too low.
DIP switches are set to "refresh"
mode but device that controls the
Tio1608-D has not started up.
Condenser mic is connected.

Solution
Make sure the power cord is connected

Set the [POWER] switch to the "on" position. If
you still cannot resolve the problem, please
contact your nearest Yamaha representative.
Make sure all cables are connected properly.
Output a signal from the source device and
confirm that the [STATUS INPUT] indicators
light.
Adjust the internal head amp gain to an
appropriate level.
Start the device that will control the Tio1608-D
and send the settings to the Tio1608-D.
Set the [+48V MASTER] switch to the "on"
position.
Use the device that controls the Tio1608-D to
turn on phantom power for the corresponding
channel.
Adjust the internal head amp gain to an
appropriate level.
Make sure all cables are connected properly.
Start the device that will control the Tio1608-D
and send the settings to the Tio1608-D.
Make sure the unit is turned off before
changing the switch positions.
