The IR SENSOR and ECHO LED are located at the lower right-hand corner of the frame (in
landscape orientation). In order to use the remote control the sensor must not be blocked. A small
hole has been precut in the mat supplied with your DF-1710, if you change the mat or install the DF-
1710 in a wall or fixture please ensure that the sensor is not blocked. The Echo LED lights whenever a
signal is received from the remote control.
