B luetooth Oper ation
The unit playback iP ad/iP hone/iP od Touch m usic thr ough B luetooth oper ation.
Note:
The unit is designed m ainly for B luetooth pair ing Apple device, like iP ad, iP hone and iP od
Touch.
Y ou m ay tr y other br and of sm ar t phone
/ m obile device
Although som e of the ear lier m obile phone m odels which have B luetooth function, it m ay
not com patible with this unit.
B efor e you did the B luetooth pair ing/connection, following infor m ation will help:
(A) Whilst the unit is sear ching for B luetooth device (e.g. iP hone), the B luetooth L E D
indicator will blink fast.
Whilst the unit pair ed with a B luetooth device (e.g . iP hone), the B luetooth L E D indicator
will blink slowly.
(B ) The B luetooth device nam e of this m odel:
For the m obile phone/device with B luetooth ver sion V2.1 and above:
- - - - - - - - - No P I N is r equir ed for B luetooth connection to this m odel.
For the m obile phone/device with B luetooth ver sion V2.0 and below:
- - - - - - - - - The P I N is "0000" for B luetooth connection to this m odel
B luetooth pair ing/connection
1.
P r ess the STANDB Y
button to tur n on the unit.
2.
P r ess the FUNCTI ON button to select B luetooth m ode. The " bt " indicator displays.
3.
The unit will sear ch neighbour ing B luetooth device and the B luetooth L E D indicator
will blink fast.
4.
Fr om the iP ad/iP hone/iP od Touch, tur n on its B luetooth function and it will also
sear ch for the neighbour ing B luetooth device.
5.
Fr om the B luetooth device list of your iP ad/iP hone/iP od Touch, tap on B luetooth
device nam e "NTX" of this m odel for the connection (P I N is not r equir ed). I n case it
pr om pts for the P I N, please enter "0000".
6.
Once the Apple device is pair ed with the unit, the B luetooth L E D indicator will blink
slowly.

P layback your iP ad/iP hone/iP od Touch m usic.
8.
Y ou m ay adjust both the volum e contr ol of your Apple device and the volum e contr ol
of this unit to find the m ost desir able volum e setting.
9.
Fr om the r em ote contr ol you m ay pr ess:
(a) the
button to P lay / P ause iP ad/iP hone/iP od Touch m usic.
(b) the FF / FR button (or

button on the m ain unit) to sk ip tr acks for war d /
backwar d.
(c) the MUTE button to m ute the volum e.
Note:
(A) Auto- pair ing/connection : With your m obile device is pair ed, in the case of (i) pr essing
the FUNCTI ON button a r ound tr ip back to the B luetooth m ode or (ii) tur n the unit off
and on again, the unit will auto- pair with the pr eviously connected m obile device.
(B ) Manual pair ing/connection : I n the case you would like to pair /connect other m obile
device, in B luetooth m ode, pr ess the B L UE TOOTH button to wait for B luetooth device
pair ing then im plem ent steps 3 to 9 above.

R adio Tuner Oper ation

FM Antenna
Fully extend the F M antenna wir e for the best F M r adio r eception.
R adio Tuning
1.
P r ess the STANDB Y
button to tur n on the unit.
2.
P r ess the FUNCTI ON button to select F M r adio Ster eo or Mono r eceiving m ode, wher e
the ster eo indicator "
FM" and m ono indicator "FM " display r espectively.
3.
To m anually tune to a desir ed station, r epeatedly pr ess the TUN +/-

To autom atically sear ch for stations with str ong signals, pr ess and hold the TUN +/-

button until the fr equency digits on display begins to scan then r elease the button.
The tuner will stop on the fir st str ong signal it finds.
Notes:
Manual tune to select weak er stations that m ig ht be skipped dur ing autom atic
tuning.
I f the autom atic tuning does not stop on the exact fr equency of the station, for
exam ple, it stops on 88.9 MHz instead of 88.8 MHz, use the m anual tuning m ethod to
"fine tune" to the exact fr equency of the desir ed station.
R adio P r eset Stations
The unit allows you to stor e up to 20 FM stations for easy r ecall at any tim e.
Auto- pr eset
1.
P r ess the STANDB Y
button to tur n on the unit.
2.
P r ess the FUNCTI ON button to select F M r adio m ode.
3.
P r ess and hold the ME M button for auto- pr eset. The tuner will autom atically scan for
str ong er stations fr om low fr equency to hig h fr equency and then stor e them in the
pr eset channels.
Manual pr eset
1.
P r ess the STANDB Y
button to tur n on the unit.
2.
P r ess the FUNCTI ON button to select F M r adio m ode.
3.
Tune to the r adio station you want to stor e in m em or y by pr essing the TUN +/-
button.
4.
P r ess the ME M button. The pr eset channel num ber appear s on display and blinks.
5.
To select desir ed pr eset station num ber , pr ess the
or the CH +/- button fr om the r em ote contr ol.
6.
To confir m pr eset location, pr ess the ME M button.
7.
R epeat steps 3 to 6 to stor e other stations, if apply.
Notes:
- Ther e is a few seconds delay when pr ogr am m ing , after this delay tim e, the unit will
autom atically switch back to nor m al tuner m ode.
- Y ou can over wr ite a pr eset station by over wr iting and stor ing the new fr equency in its
place.

1.

button to tur n on the unit.
2.
P r ess the FUNCTI ON button to select F M r adio r eceiving m ode.
3.
To select desir ed pr eset station, pr ess the P R E SE T button then the
fr om the m ain unit or pr ess the CH +/- button fr om the r em ote contr ol.
