TROUBLESHOOTING

4-2-15. When the Panel PBA does not work properly

① When the Panel PBA is not turned on or only some of the lamps are
turned on
Refer to the circuit diagram in this
manual or the diagram attached to
the back of the refrigerator.
When the panel keys do not work
② When the Panel PBA key cannot be selected
※ The basic troubleshooting follows the descriptions above. If the problem continues even after completing the
steps above, complete the following procedures.
① Check the fri d ge compartment door wi r e - Check i f the wi r e i s open-ci r cui t ed or short-ci r cui t ed.
① Check the fri d ge compartment CABI wi r e - Check i f the wi r e i s open-ci r cui t ed or short-ci r cui t ed.
③ Check i f there are any open or short-ci r cui t s i n the communi c ati o n and power suppl y bl o ck on the Mai n and Panel PBAs.
Is the connector of the upper hinge cover
of the fridge compartment inserted
Is the Main PBA connector CN50 inserted
Is the connector properly inserted into the
Door Panel PBA?
Is the Panel PBA turned on properly when
the PBA has been replaced?

③ Check i f there are open or short ci r cui t s i n the Mai n or Panel PBA.
Is the Lock lamp turned on?
Has any key been pressed
Do the keys not work even after the PBAs
have been disassembled?
Is the Panel PBA turned on properly when
the PBA has been replaced?
※ If no key is pressed for 10 seconds, the LEDs
of the display are turned off. When the display
is turned off, you can use the keys after turning
Start
the display on by pressing any key first.
However, if the door or the home bar door is
opened, the Display LEDs remains on.

Reconnect the connector.
Repair it if there is a contact
problem.
Reconnect the connector to
the Main PBA.
Reconnect the connector.
Repair it if there is a contact
problem.
The Panel PBA is defective.
When the power is connected to the
refrigerator, replace the Panel PCB.
The keys will work normally after 1 to
2 minutes.
Check again after releasing the
lock function.
Reassemble the PBA ASS' Y so
that no key is pressed.
Reassemble the PBA ASS' Y so
that no key is pressed.
The Panel PBA is defective.
