Note:
The discharge
will
consist of scalding
water and
steam. Asphalt,
roofing felt and nonmetallic rainwater goods
may
be
damaged
by such discharges.
7.
Flushing and Commissioning
-
Ensure
all
pipe connections
are
tight, including immersion heate(s).
-
Check
the immersion
heater
setting
is
not above
60C
and
that the
live
and
neutral connec-
tions
are
correct.
-
Open
a
hot
tap
farthest from the
unit. Open
the
mains stop cock
to fill the unit.
-
Flush
for
three
minutes.
- Close
off taps and check
pipework for
leaks.
- Switch
on electricity to the immersion heate(s)
or switch on
the
boiler.
Refer
to
boiler
manu
facturer
s
instructions
or
commissioning.
- Bring
the unit to approx
65C.
Check
that
water does not discharge
via
theTundish pipework
during
heating.
