BATTERY PRECAUTIONS

• Dispose of old batteries properly. Do not dispose of old batteries
in a fire.
• Do not leave batteries where a child or pet could play with or
swallow them. If batteries are swallowed, contact a
physician immediately.
• Batteries may explode if mistreated. Do not attempt to recharge or
disassemble batteries.
WARNING
1. Do not try to disassemble the speaker.
2. Do not place speaker near heat sources such as radiators, heating
vents or direct sunlight.
3. Do not place speaker where there is moisture, rain, vibration, shock
or excessive dust.
4. Keep the speaker dry.
5. Do not use or store speaker in extreme temperatures.
NOTE: The manufacturer is not responsible for any audio or TV interference
caused by unauthorized modifications to this equipment. Such
modifications could void the User's authority to operate the equipment.

Headphone Jack
1. Insert one end of the TRANSMITTER POWER ADAPTER into DC 9V on
the transmitter and the other end into an electrical outlet.
2. Insert one end of the DUAL RCA CABLE into the appropriately colored
R/L LINE IN jacks on the transmitter and the other end into the
appropriately colored ends of the Y ADAPTER 3.5MM CABLE.
3. Insert the 1/8" single end of the Y ADAPTER 3.5MM CABLE into your
audio source's headphone jack.
Note: If your audio source requires a 1/4" headphone plug, you will need a
1/4" adapter (not included).

SPEAKER OPERATION

Installing the Speaker Batteries
You may insert batteries into the speaker as backup or if you prefer
not to use the SPEAKER POWER ADAPTER.
1. Turn the SCREWS located on the bottom of the speaker
counterclockwise and remove the BATTERY COMPARTMENT COVER.
2. Insert eight D batteries (not included) according to polarity
indicators inside the compartment.
3. Replace the BATTERY COMPARTMENT COVER and tighten
the SCREWS.
