When the steering wheel does not
unlock, the warning illuminates for 10
seconds on the LCD screen.

Type I
Type II
When the steering wheel does not lock,
the warning illuminates for 10 seconds
on the LCD screen.

Check fuse "BRAKE SWITCH"
Type II Type I
When the brake switch fuse is discon-
nected, the warning illuminates for 10
seconds on the LCD screen.
Replace the fuse with a new one. If that
is not possible you can start the engine
by pressing the engine start/stop button
for 10 seconds with the ignition switch in
ACC.
