Coff ee grinder blocked.
Error Code 3-4
Brew group blocked, cannot be
pulled out.
Error Code 5
Water circuit error.
The machine is out of order. The error code is displayed in the right bot-
tom corner. For error codes 1 -3 - 4 - 5, please refer to the "Troubleshooting"
chapter. For any other error codes, follow the instructions below: Turn off the
machine. Turn it back on after 30 seconds. Try this 2 or 3 times.
If the machine does not start, contact the Philips hotline in your country and
quote the error code shown on the display. Contact details can be found in
the warranty booklet packed separately or at www.philips.com/support.

Causes
Coff ee outlet duct clogged.
The brew group is out of place.
Air in the water circuit.
Solutions
Thoroughly clean the coff ee
outlet duct as described in the
"Weekly Cleaning of the Brew
Group" chapter.
Close the service door. Turn
off and back on the machine.
The brew group automatically
returns to the initial position.
Remove and put back the water
tank a few times, making sure
it is properly reinserted. Check
that the water tank compart-
ment is clean.
If the Intenza+ fi lter is installed,
remove it. Turn off and back on
the machine. Put the fi lter back
when the machine is ready for
use.
