Security Setting; Fixed Dial Numbers - Zte F953 User Manual

Tap Ring Type to set ring type.
Tap Voice Call Ringtone to set voice call ring tone.
Tap Video Call Ringtone to set video call ring tone.
Tap Message Tone to set SMS ring.
Tap Ring Volume to set ring volume.
Tap Earpiece Volume to adjust earpiece volume.
Tap Keytones to turn off/on the keypad tone.
Tap Warning Tone to turn on/off the warning tone.
Tap Missed Calls Tone to set missed call notification tone.
Tap Power On/Off Tone to set the power on/off melody.

Security setting

Phone lock: Phone lock could prevent your phone from illegal use. The default handset password is 0000.
Please change it to your own phone password as soon as possible.
PIN Code: PIN code (Personal Identification Code) could prevent your SIM card from illegal use. When
PIN lock is on, you should enter the PIN code when power on the handset again, otherwise the handset
can only execute emergency call.
PUK Code: Consecutive inputting wrong PIN code for three times can cause locking of UIM card. To
unlock, you need PUK code.
In standby mode, press Menu Key > S
1.
2. Select Activate Security Codes > Handset Password/PIN Code to activate/deactivate handset
password or PIN code protection.
3. Select Change Security Codes > Handset Password/PIN Code/PIN2 code to change handset
password or PIN code.
Notes:
PIN code and PUK code may be offered together with the UIM card. If not, please contact with
network operator. Please change default PIN code to your own as soon as possible.
Please remember the password you set, without it your phone cannot be used normally and you will
need to contact your service provider to unlock it.
PIN2 is needed for some settings. Proceed as with PIN code.
PUK code can only be inputted continuously for 10 times, if input wrong PUK code for 10 times,
SIM card will be locked indefinitely.

Fixed Dial Numbers

If you active this function, you can not dial the numbers out of list.
