Instruction For Operation • To test and troubleshoot 19 pin and shielding connections of the HDMI cable, plug both ends of the cable to be tested into the unit’s two HDMI connections.

• Press the “test” button once, then the unit begins to test the cable pin to pin status. a.If the cable is ok, the good/bad LED will be lit in green and a single beep “Bi-” will sound. b.If the cable is bad, the good/bad LED will be lit in red and 3 consecutive beep “Bi-Bi-Bi”...

• Test Results green (good) red (bad) a.Open: Press “test” button once again, the LED bar will illuminate in red color to indicate which pins are open. Note: PIN 2, 5 are opened.

b.Short: green (good) red (bad) Press “test” button once again, the LED bar will illuminate in red color to indicate which pins are shorted. Note: PIN 8, 10 are shorted.
