5.15 TouchPad

TouchPad
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Section 5.3) and, in the order
below, remove the following components:
top cover (Section 5.10)
hard drive (Section 5.11)
RTC battery (Section 5.12)
keyboard (Section 5.13)
EMI shield (Section 5.14)
2. Lift the back edge of the TouchPad to disconnect it from the system
board (Figure 5-22).
3. Remove the TouchPad

Reverse the removal procedure described above to replace the TouchPad.
