Operation
− Make sure the lid is properly locked before starting the
food processor.
• DO NOT fill the bowl above the MAX line when liquid ingredients
are being processed.
• For better control, process the food by pressing the operating
buttons briefly. Check consistency and continue if desired.
• For better results, process only small amounts of food at a time.
• To make bread crumbs, tear bread into pieces before processing.
Similarly, break crackers or cookies into pieces before processing
to make crumbs for use in a cheesecake base or pie crusts. Before
processing make sure the bowl, lid and chopping blade are
completely dry.
• To chop carrots, celeries, mushrooms, green peppers or onions,
cut into 1-inch chunks before processing for more uniform
consistency. Use the reducer to chop small quantities of nuts,
parsley, basil, chives, or garlic.
• Puree small amounts of cooked fruit or vegetables for baby
food or use as a base for sauces or soups. Ensure the food is
sufficiently homogenized before giving them to children.
• Do not process raw meat.
• Some ingredients such as coffee beans, baking chocolate, or
whole or hard spices may damage the plastic parts and are not
recommended to be processed by the food processor.
1. Put the bowl
handle on the left corner. Secure the bowl by rotating it counterclockwise
until it locks in the middle (see fig. B).
2. For chopping, mount the chopping blade
downwards until it locks into place (see step 1 in fig. C).
For whipping, mount the whipping disc
downwards until it locks into place (see step 2 in fig. C).
3. Cut the food into small pieces (approx. 0.6 × 0.6 inch) and put them into the
bowl.
In case of a small amount of ingredients, for instance chopping nuts, garlic
or chilies, place the reducer
quantities of food more evenly chopped (see fig. D).
4. Place the lid
lid by rotating it counterclockwise so that its rear flap perfectly engages in
the slot (see fig. E).
5. Connect the power cord to a power socket.
