Assembly Helpful Tip: ALWAYS install the bowl and knife blade attachment onto the base before adding ingredients. Place the lid onto the bowl, and turn the lid counterclockwise (i.e., left) until it locks into the bowl, ensuring the raised locking tab on the lid faces the release lever on the handle of the bowl. - Page 14 Assembly Helpful Tip: To fit the reversible plate attachment onto the plate carrier, the crosshairs on the plate carrier must mate with the stem on the reversible plate; otherwise the reversible plate attachment will fall off. ALWAYS fit the bowl and reversible plate attachment onto the power base before adding ingredients.

Control Panel The speed control knob on the base of the food processor has 4 positions, providing you with fingertip control of operation. PULSE: Use the PULSE function for short bursts of power at the optimum speed. This function is controlled by the user, which means the PULSE function will operate for as long as the speed control knob is held in the PULSE position. - Page 16 Plate Carrier with Knife Blade Attachment Reversible Plate Attachment Feed Tube with Food Pusher Knife Blade Attachment The knife blade attachment is the most versatile of all the attachments. The food texture achieved is determined by the processing duration. For coarser textures, use the PULSE function and regularly check the consistency to avoid over-processing foods.

DO NOT operate the food processor continuously for more than one minute. If the food processor runs for an exceptionally long time when processing thick or heavy mixtures in successive batches, the power base may overheat.
