Thermostat Operation The BOREAL® heat pump comes supplied with a 2-stage heating / 1-stage cooling auto change-over digital thermostat. The heat pump is already prewired for this stat and requires only the connections mentioned above for full operation.

High / Low Pressure control operation If the system has been in the HEAT mode there will be a delay as the MODE switch timer keeps the compressor OFF for 5 minutes (adjustable).
