Insert the battery

NOTICE
Only use completely charged batteries.
ATTENTION
Risk of damage of the chain saw and the
battery. Check the battery retainer and con-
tacts for soiling prior to installation and
clean if necessary.
 Push the battery into the retainer until it
audibly snaps into place.

Remove battery

WARNING
Risk of injury! Always remove the battery
pack during work breaks and for mainte-
nance / care tasks.
 Press the release button.
 Remove the battery from the device.
First-time users are advised to have an
experienced person brief them and to
practice the handling and techniques on
safe workpieces.

Basic operation

 Release chain brake.
 Press the release button.
 Push the power switch
 Wait until the saw chain has reached
full speed.
 Bring the chain saw close to the work-
piece while observing all safety instruc-
tions.
 Make the cut.
 Check the saw chain oil level at regular
intervals during work.
