your image quality.

4.1.2 Choosing Your Scanning Source

Besides family photos or regular documents, the scanner allows you
to scan transparencies or negative films. To scan transparencies or
negative films, you have to install the transparency kit (optional) first.
For regular purpose to scan photos or documents please leave the
scanning source to flatbed option.
